What I Decided

For school we've been reading a lot of special books about missionaries and about children in diffrent countries. One of them was a book that talked about a missionary and a little boy called Tognia who lives in India. In the beginning of the book he didn't know God, but he went to school and learned about God there. Tognia got saved by asking God to forgive him for his sins. Then Tognia got baptised.

I asked what 'baptised' means and Mummy told me and then I asked Mummy to read about it in the Bible to me. You have to get saved before you get baptised. Getting baptised means you go under water and that's like you're being buried with Jesus. And then you come out of the water and that's like you're rising from the dead with Jesus.

So now I know what being baptised means and the Bible says that we should be baptised to show people that we're saved and love Jesus Christ and we want to live like Him.

And that's what I decided I would like to do. Be baptised. I want to get baptised on a hot day so I don't get too cold on a cold day! I have to wait for Mama and Papa to organised where I will be baptised.

Have you been saved and baptised yet?
